Copper Beech Garden Design Ltd is a family run business based in Herefordshire with over 12 years experience of making beautiful gardens from natural and reclaimed materials.

Jim and Helen Morris-Ridout set up the company with the aim of providing a landscaping service that is of the highest quality while also considering the impact of their work on the environment.

Copper Beech are happy to work on the smallest projects as well as the largest contracts, they always take great pride in their work regardless of size. At the end of 2011 Copper Beech successfully finished a 16 month contract to landscaping the entire grounds of a local school, while in early 2012 they were also delighted to install a small slate mosaic patio in Hereford, if Copper Beech take on the work you can be assured their heart is always in it.

In 2004 Jim and Helen were awarded the Schumacher Award for their work founding Unity Garden, a successful community garden project in Hereford. The project came about as an extension of their belief that gardens are a great resource for learning, healing and relaxation.

RHS Silver MedalIn 2006 Copper Beech were awarded an RHS silver medal for a show garden called ‘For Tibet’ a tribute to the struggles of the Tibetan people for freedom and Independence. The garden was praised by Monty Don and featured on BBC Gardener’s World.

By having such a dedication to providing a high quality and ethical company Jim and Helen have been able to refine the service they provide, products and materials they use and also attract the best craftsmen around.

Copper Beech do not believe in charging the earth for the high quality service they provide, the company works in an increasingly competitive market, their clients will verify time and again that a Copper Beech job is money well spent.

As part of the initial consultation Jim will often produce sketches and a fully itemised estimate for any work you may be interested in having Copper Beech undertake. Throughout this process you are under no obligation to employ Copper Beech services.
