Cobble path

Below is a photo of a cobble path we laid a few years ago. I have just finished another small section of this paving and was reminded how effective it is.

Made from stone from the Black mountains on the Welsh boarder, the stone is cut into strips and laid on edge.

Natural play frame photos

Here are a few better photos of the play frame we built at a local pub last year.

Built from coppiced chestnut poles from woodland less than ten miles from the pub.

We also included a large sand pit that has a canvas cover when not in use. The sand pit is edged with green oak railway sleepers.

A little den we built last year for a class one group.

The school have some hazel hurdles that they use for removable front walls.
